After I’d introduced 3 motivational books from the 3 International best-selling authors in previous post, it is time for me to introduce the next 3 top motivational books.
The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari: A Fable About Fulfilling Your Dreams & Reaching Your Destiny : Looking at the title, this should be interesting. From the description of book in Amazon, this inspiring book provides step-by-step approach to living with greater courage, balance, abundance, and joy. The author, Julian Mantle, was a lawyer who forced to confront the spiritual crisis of his out-of-balance life, and at last chose to be a monk. He has been going around the world to motivate people and share about what he believed to be “life”. In this book, he is going to share with us the values he believe in life which can make us to live more happily, after all money is just a piece of paper after death.
If Life Is a Game, These Are the Rules : Chrie Carter-Scott, a corporate trainer and consultant, composed a list of basic truths about life, which she named “The Ten Rules for Being Human.” Right away, the Rules resonated with her clients, who photocopied and passed the list to friends and relatives. Within months, Chrie’s Rules were in thousands of homes all over the country, and eventually, they were published in Chicken Soup for the Soul and have also appeared in Ann Landers’ column. Some of the interesting rules to “be human” are like “You will receive a body”, “There are no mistakes, only lessons”, “Lessons are repeated until learned”, “What you make of your life is up to you” and etc. Definitely a top motivational book that can enlighten every of my morning !
Conversations with Myself : As the name suggests, this book is going to reveal some of the stories of Nelson Mandela, one of the most inspiring and iconic figures of our age. Being a controversial South African politician, this man wrote this book while he was in jail and imprisonment for 27 years. Nelson Mandela who led South Africa to democracy and frequently concern about inequality and poverty issues in his mother country, has always been a mystery to many people. Now, after a lifetime of taking pen to paper to record thoughts and events, hardships and victories, he has bestowed his entire extant personal papers, which offer an unprecedented insight into his remarkable life. Conversations with Myself will illuminate a heroic life forged on the front lines of the struggle for freedom and justice.
I had actually bought all 3 books in Popular Book Fair and glad that I finished 2 of them already (They are all really intriguing). In my opinion, these 3 top motivational books are worth buying.
